Sephora is looking for a Logistics Executive focusing on Freight Management for its South East Asia (SEA) operations. The Logistics Executive has the responsibility to ensure a smooth and efficient management of international flows for Sephora South-East Asia B2B and B2C by coordinating with and managing Freight Forwarders and Transportation Partners.
Responsibilities cover:
1) Import and Export Operations (B2B and Inter-Company Flows)
- Coordination with Sephora Regional Supply Planning and Procurement team: documentation validation as well as approval to ship.
- Coordination with Country Teams as well as other functional departments: Shipping requirements and arrangements, document preparation and validation.
- Coordination with Freight Forwarders and Transportation Partners: tracking of shipment (lead-times, quality), claims management
This responsibility covers total SEA: flows to and from Singapore
2) Export Operations (B2C)
- Coordination with Transportation Partners and Category team: Ensure full and proper documentation of MSDS to facilitate DG Shipments.
- Coordination with Freight Forwarders and Transportation Partners: tracking of shipment (lead-times, quality), claims management
This responsibility covers total SEA: EB flows from Singapore
3) Freight Management
- Monitors costs and service level agreements, defines corrective actions to cope with budget
- Monitors KPI on transportation activity and action plans to reach objectives
- Monitors and audits compliances with safety and environmental requirements
- Manages relationship with transportation partners: performance review, cost control
- Manages Freight Tenders (yearly or as and when required)
This responsibility covers total SEA: flows to and from Singapore and/or SEA Countries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
- 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, familiar with the import operation and good knowledge on customs
- Excellent communication skills and possess the ability to work across functional areas and levels of the organization
- Advanced excel skills
- Self-starter and autonomous
- Ability to work under pressure
