Grant Writer (Freelance)
Job Description
• Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying suitable opportunities and needs and studying requests for proposal (RFPs)
• Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation
• Ensures credibility of proposals
• Cultivates ongoing donors’ relationships by providing more specific information to the donor about how their money is being used
• Aligns and displays proposal concepts with both social and enterprise values
• Target: Writes and edits two (2) grants per month, 1,000-2,000 words per listicle
Requirements:
· A proven track record of grant writing, general fundraising
· Diploma or Bachelor in Communications, English or Writing or the equivalent
· Excellent written and verbal English skills
· Experience in the social enterprise sector would be beneficial
· Self-motivated and positive attitude
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
